Like you, I’ve been an entrepreneur for the better part of my career. I spent more than 20 years of launching and growing an international company—DesignPac, now a division of 1-800-Flowers—with a tight-knit group of partners and collaborators.

Throughout my time with DesignPac, I worked with some of the world’s largest retailers (Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Costco, Macy’s), and traveled throughout the world to negotiate contracts and build relationships with vendors, shipping companies, and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

As our company grew, so did the need to mitigate the strain on our employees and ourselves. Our leadership team worked hard to manage this stress and create a positive atmosphere that yielded high employee retention numbers and a culture of success.

Today, I’ve shifted my focus to take the lessons I’ve learned throughout my career and share them with others so they can fulfill their greatest business ambitions.
